Terms of Use

1. The service

1099sub.com is independent subcontractor recruiting and installation-project management software used and operated by IG National. The service may support subcontractor profiles, recruiting, vetting, onboarding, document status, project matching, installation-project records, scheduling, communications, photos, completion records, payment readiness, and related administrative functions.

2. Independent subcontractor relationship

Submitting a profile is not an employment application and does not create an employment, agency, partnership, franchise, joint-venture, exclusive, or guaranteed-work relationship with IG National. The service is intended for independent installers who offer installation services to other customers and do not rely on IG National as their sole source of work. You remain responsible for deciding whether to accept or decline each project opportunity and for satisfying the legal, licensing, insurance, tax, equipment, staffing, and other obligations applicable to your independent installation services.

IG National does not withhold payroll taxes or provide employee wages, benefits, unemployment coverage, or workers' compensation coverage as your employer. Independent subcontractors are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, licenses, tools, business expenses, and legal compliance. This section states the parties' intended relationship; worker status is governed by applicable law, and rights or protections that cannot legally be waived remain unaffected.

Customer demand and project fit vary. IG National may have many, few, or no matching opportunities during any period and will initiate contact when an opportunity fits. A profile does not guarantee approval, project offers, project volume, territory, compensation, income, or future contact. A binding project commitment exists only when authorized parties accept the applicable installation-project record or written project agreement.

3. Eligibility and authority

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter agreements. If you use the service for a company or other entity, you represent that you have authority to provide its information and act on its behalf.

4. Accurate information and trade fundamentals

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to update it when it changes. You may not misrepresent qualifications, licenses, insurance, certifications, experience, personnel, tools, installation areas, availability, project completion, expenses, or any other material fact. IG National may verify information and may suspend, reject, or remove a profile when information cannot be verified or appears inaccurate.

IG National may provide project-specific instruction for systems, customers, documentation, or procedures. It does not provide entry-level training in low-voltage trade fundamentals. You may accept only projects for which you have the experience, personnel, tools, and equipment needed to safely perform the stated scope.

5. Accounts and secure links

You are responsible for protecting access to your email, device, portal session, and one-time or secure links. Do not forward login, profile-resume, upload, or project links to unauthorized people. Notify IG National promptly if you believe access has been compromised.

6. Installation-project records

Each installation-project record may state the location, scope, schedule, compensation, expenses, deliverables, documentation, checkout requirements, customer rules, and payment conditions. Project-specific terms control if they conflict with these general Terms. You must obtain approval for material changes, additional installation services, or reimbursable expenses before incurring them unless an emergency procedure expressly allows otherwise.

7. Photos, documents, and communications

You may upload or submit project photos, documents, messages, and other materials needed to recruit, evaluate, schedule, perform, document, or pay for installation services. You represent that you have the right to provide those materials and that they do not violate law, customer rules, confidentiality obligations, privacy rights, or intellectual-property rights. You grant IG National permission to store, copy, review, share with the relevant customer or project partners, and use those materials for project, compliance, support, dispute, audit, and recordkeeping purposes.

8. Prohibited use

You may not misuse the service; impersonate another person; access another user’s information; introduce malware; interfere with security or operation; scrape or harvest data; use the service for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, discriminatory, or harmful activity; or upload confidential customer information beyond what the installation project requires.

9. Electronic communications

You consent to receive electronic records and operational communications related to your profile, secure access, documents, accepted installation projects, safety, compliance, payment, and changes to the service. Recruiting and general opportunity communications may be limited through the provided unsubscribe method. Text-message consent and opt-out choices are described at the point of collection and in the Privacy Policy.

10. Third-party services

The service may connect to third-party email, text, document, e-signature, photo, storage, banking, payment, tax, accounting, mapping, or customer systems. Those services may have separate terms and privacy practices. IG National is not responsible for third-party systems outside its control.

11. Suspension and termination

IG National may limit, suspend, or terminate access; place a profile or payment under review; or remove a person from the network when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, customer requirements, suspected fraud, misrepresentation, unsafe conduct, material breach, project disputes, or protection of the service or others. Obligations and records that by their nature should survive will remain in effect.

12. Disclaimers

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. IG National does not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, continuous access, or any particular project, customer, volume, result, or income. Nothing on the site is legal, tax, insurance, licensing, or accounting advice.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, IG National and its service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or lost profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from use of or inability to use the service. Rights that cannot legally be waived remain unaffected.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms as the service changes. The effective date above identifies the current version. Continued use after an updated version becomes effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
