YOUR INFORMATION

Privacy Policy

Effective September 1, 2026

1. Who we are

1099sub.com is an independent subcontractor recruiting and installation-project management system used and operated by IG National. This policy explains how IG National collects, uses, discloses, and protects information through 1099sub.com and related recruiting, onboarding, project, documentation, communication, and payment-readiness processes.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you provide, including your name, optional company or DBA name, email address, telephone number, location and installation areas, installation skills, experience, tools and equipment, solo or crew capacity, availability, travel preferences, insurance status, certifications, licenses, project preferences, profile notes, and communication choices.

As the system expands into installation-project management, we may also collect project acceptance and scheduling information, jobsite updates, messages, photographs, documents, completion records, checkout information, expenses, payment status, and compliance-document status.

We also collect limited technical information needed to operate and secure the service, such as browser and device information, IP address, timestamps, authentication and audit events, and essential session-cookie data.

3. Sensitive tax and banking information

1099sub.com is not intended to store full Social Security numbers, employer identification numbers, bank-account numbers, or routing numbers in its ordinary application database. When W-9, payment, or tax-reporting functions are enabled, those details may be collected and secured by a specialized payment, banking, tax, or electronic-signature provider. 1099sub.com may retain status, dates, provider reference numbers, and limited identifying details needed to manage the workflow.

4. How we use information

  • Create, save, maintain, and authenticate subcontractor profiles.
  • Evaluate qualifications, capabilities, installation areas, readiness, and potential project fit.
  • Recruit, vet, onboard, and communicate with independent subcontractors.
  • Offer, schedule, manage, document, review, and close installation projects.
  • Track agreements, insurance, certifications, W-9 status, payment readiness, and project history.
  • Send requested login links, profile receipts, document notices, project messages, payment notices, and permitted recruiting communications.
  • Operate, secure, troubleshoot, audit, analyze, and improve the system.
  • Comply with legal, tax, accounting, safety, contractual, and customer requirements.

5. How we disclose information

We may disclose information to authorized IG National personnel; customers or project partners when reasonably necessary to evaluate or perform a project; and vendors that provide hosting, database, email, text messaging, document, e-signature, file-storage, project-photo, banking, payment, tax, accounting, security, analytics, or support services. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, to investigate fraud or misuse, or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or transfer of business assets.

We do not sell personal information for money and do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. If that practice changes, we will update this policy and provide any legally required choices before the new practice begins.

6. Cookies and tracking

1099sub.com uses essential cookies and similar technology for authentication, session security, request handling, and basic service operation. We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies or tracking designed to follow you across unrelated websites. Browser settings may block cookies, but essential account and portal functions may then stop working.

7. Communications and opt-outs

Transactional or operational emails—such as secure login links, profile receipts, document requests, installation-project notices, safety messages, and payment updates—are sent to provide the service or respond to your actions. Recruiting campaigns, periodic network updates, and general opportunity emails include a communication-preference or unsubscribe method. Opting out of recruiting email does not prevent essential account, security, accepted-project, legal, or payment communications.

You may opt out of automated text messages by replying STOP. You may still receive a non-automated call or message when legally permitted and operationally necessary, including communications about a project you accepted.

8. Retention

We retain information while your profile remains in the IG National network, while needed to administer installation projects and payments, and for legitimate operational, customer, audit, dispute, tax, accounting, insurance, safety, and legal purposes. Retention periods vary by record type. We may preserve limited records of communication preferences and opt-outs so those choices can be honored.

9. Your choices and requests

You may ask to access, correct, update, or delete personal information associated with your profile, or ask questions about our practices. Some information may be retained when required for tax, payment, contract, safety, fraud-prevention, dispute, or legal purposes. Depending on where you reside and which privacy laws apply, you may have additional rights. We will verify requests before acting and will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

Submit privacy requests to support@1099sub.com. Please use the subject line “1099sub Privacy Request” and include enough information for us to identify your profile. We do not require you to disclose a full Social Security number or bank-account number to make a request.

10. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information, including access controls, limited staff permissions, secure session cookies, one-time login links, audit records, and specialized providers for sensitive workflows. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Children

1099sub.com is intended for adults acting as independent subcontractors or on behalf of a business. It is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children through the subcontractor application.

12. Policy changes

We may update this policy as the system and legal requirements change. The effective date above shows when this version took effect. Material changes will be posted here and, when appropriate, communicated through the service.
